On the 4th to 6th of December 2019, we had successfully completed JTU group annual general meeting 2019 in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. We gladly received the arrival of the representative staffs from each office, including branches in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Singapore and Malaysia.
The first day of meeting was kickstarted by the Managing Director of JTU Pte Ltd, Mr Jack Wong’s short speech. Mr Jack Wong ended his opening by sharing an inspirational quote from Warren Buffett, “The best investment you can make, is an investment in yourself. The more you learn, the more you’ll earn.”, which greatly motivated the attendees.
The day was then followed by a series of product knowledge training and updates to keep our staffs updated, which is a way in ensuring one of the company core values 'continuous improvement'. We invited some staffs to make product presentation and info sharing regarding GKG Multi-function Dispenser, GKG Screen Printer, Martintrier Laser Marker, KED Cleaning Machine, JTU Conformal Coating Solution, JTU current and new Reflow Oven, and Pro Series Selective Soldering Solution from ZSW, which will be launched in January 2020.
The agenda of the remaining two days was the business review and target setting for each branch unit. It was also a great chance to receive feedback from each branch for company calibration, improvement and business planning.
Other than these intense and compressed meetings, of course we grabbed the rare opportunity to catch up with each other and have fun together after working hours. In JTU group culture, we practice harmony, mutual respect to each other but set no tolerance for workplace politics activities. We will stay united, build cohesive teamwork, always be humble and work together to “Take on the world”.
